We will be holding the First Annual Toy/Clothing give away at Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church on December 23, 2009 from 12 pm to 3pm. The event will be titled, GAME and EASTWOOD in association with IMHP present “Christmas in Compton, Hope in Giving”.
We are expecting approximately 300 disadvantaged children from the City of Compton to be in attendance as well as other celebrity guests.
The following are brief biographies of our sponsors EASTWOOD and GAME;
EASTWOOD and GAME were both born and raised in Compton and know first –hand, how a single act of kindness can go a long way. Both artists have reached a point in their respective careers where they wish to give back to the community which has supported them, in a way that will uplift the children of Compton in this time of recession and high unemployment. It is their desire for this to become an annual event for the children and the city.
